.MUSIC presents TEXAS TORNADO at South by Southwest on Thursday, March 17th at Rusty Spurs from 12noon to 6pm.  In association with Tijuana Gift Shop, Sideways Media and The Force Agency, Texas Tornado at SXSW will showcase buzz-drenched artists over two stages.  The event is a benefit for Invisible Children, a movement seeking to end the confluct in Uganda and stop the abduction of children for use as child soldiers.

Texas Tornado at SXSW is open to all SXSW badge holders and the general public through RSVP.

Audible Treats' 2nd Annual Official SXSW Hip-Hop Showcase will take place on Thursday, March 17th at The Scoot Inn and will feature a solid line-up of legendary and rising hip-hop artists including Talib Kweli, Casual, Pep Love, and Opio of The Hieroglyphics, Nottz, Black Milk, Strong Arm Steady, Derek 32Zero, DJ Toure, Moe Green, TRUTHLiVE, Kokayi, The Niceguys, DaVinci, Erk Tha Jerk, Roach Gigz, League510, and Kyle Rapps, with producer IMAKEMADBEATS serving as the official DJ for the night.

Continuing a tradition that began with Audible Treats' inaugural CMJ Showcase in 2009, a number of exclusive, limited edition gift bags will be distributed throughout both evenings, courtesy of the showcase lifestyle sponsors FLüD Watches, IMKING Clothing, Orisue Clothing, and Rocksmith Tokyo Clothing.

Every year since 2006, we’ve taken over Emo’s and Emo’s Jr. on the Friday of SXSW, assembled an unrivaled array of amazing bands, and made it 100% free and open to everyone. Now, with help from our friends at Time Out, Groupon, and Ticketweb, we’re thrilled to be bringing another stellar lineup to both stages in the hallowed halls of Emo’s.
