The 2011 SXSW Found Type Photowalk is go! We are happy to announce that this year’s photowalk will take place on Sunday, March 13th, 2011. The plan is to meet once again in the lobby of the Hilton Austin (same as previous years) and depart around 10:00am. This year we will be heading west towards Congress Avenue and then wandering south across the bridge over Town Lake. Let’s see what type lurks beyond the downtown core, shall we?

MapQuest Road Trip to the Salt Lick

event::about MapQuest plans to host their 2nd annual Road Trip to the Salt Lick at the Salt Lick Barbecue Restaurant. This year's event will be even bigger than last year's, still offering free all-you-can-eat BBQ and drinks. We'll be bussing over 250 people to the event – all you need is a SXSW Interactive, Gold, or Platinum badge, and an ID to prove you’re 21 or older. Remember, you must be on the bus in order to participate. The bus will load at 5:30pm at the Hilton, and it's first come first serve, so get there early!
