David is a Senior Project Manager- Solar Operations in GE’s renewable energy business. He joined GE in 2009 through the Renewable Energy Leadership Program where he served in roles in Product Service and Warranty, Emerging Technology Strategy, Global Projects Operations, and Solar Manufacturing. Dave’s work experience prior to joining GE includes evaluating market opportunities for advanced ethanol production in Brazil, permitting marine energy projects in the U.S., and teaching oceanography for Sea Education Association. Dave holds an M.B.A. from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at U.N.C-Chapel Hill, an M.E.M. from the Nicholas School at Duke University and a B.A. from Hamilton College. When he’s not working to bring renewable energy to the world, Dave plays with his three kids, fosters his backyard homestead of gardens, chickens, goats, and bees, and races in the occasional triathlon.
