About: After exploring 8-bit to digital pop with DAT Politics for 10 years, Vincent Thiérion is back with a new solo project called MARKLION. The French musician explores the dance music possibilities and prepares special live with original visual devices. “I want to give myself a total freedom, going from an acid sound live to sweeter pop compositions in studio…” explains Vincent. Marklion goes from Acid techno to grunge and synth-pop, somewhere between Nirvana, Aphex Twin and Daft Punk, in his first EP “You, EP”. Hyperactive, he’s now working on a new EP, a LP and remixes on his own label Upcode Records.
