About: With 47 countries and nearly four billion people, Asia represents a clear but daunting opportunity for both local and international independent music. Many have tried but very very few independents have been successful in effectively expanding into Asia. This panel will explore what the practical opportunity is in each of five key Asian markets, what the landscape looks like for both digital and physical distribution, and what's happening locally to facilitate growth in the indie sector.
