About: The world is quickly becoming smaller and we are becoming more dependent upon each other for every day things in life. We are receiving ideas and information faster than ever before. We consume goods from around the world on a daily basis. We no longer live in a world where we are isolated from the problems and perhaps the opportunities of others. Global Citizenship is about recognizing we are not just citizens of our respective countries, but also to a larger global ecosystem. What does this mean now? What will it mean in the future? How do we need to adapt to these changes? What role does technology play in this? Who should be concerned with the idea of global citizens? Could there really be a possibility we could achieve world peace through grassroots efforts like this?
